THE ROLE: Strategic Finance / FP&A Manager

NexGen Cloud's customer base and operations have grown to the point where Group planning and modelling can no longer sit on top of finance leadership's day job. We need someone to own the Group's integrated three-statement model across a multi-entity, multi-currency group, at the same time as we explore financing to fund our next stage of expansion.

This is a role for someone who wants to own the model the business actually plans against, not one component of someone else's. You'll be the most senior FP&A voice day to day, with full process ownership, direct line of sight to leadership and the Board, and no people-management overhead in the way.

## WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Rather than a checklist, here's what success in this role actually looks like:

- Own the Group's three-statement model and make it the single source of truth across every entity and currency
- Run budgeting, reforecasting and long-range planning end to end, without needing the process handed to you in pieces
- Turn monthly and quarterly performance into a clear narrative with recommendations that leadership and the Board can act on, not just variance tables
- Build the modelling behind funding options, debt structure and strategic initiatives as NexGen considers financing for its expansion
- Work with budget holders across the business so plans reflect operational reality, and raise early warnings before targets slip
- Strip manual effort out of forecasting and reporting using Power BI, AI and digital tools

## ABOUT YOU

We care more about how you think and work than a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:

Essential:

- End-to-end ownership of a full planning cycle (budget, reiforecast and long-range plan) in an FP&A role
- An integrated three-statement model you built from the ground up and can walk through, assumptions and linkages included
- Modelling depth beyond the core, including scenario and sensitivity analysis rather than template-driven outputs
- The ability to turn model outputs into Board and management reporting that non-finance stakeholders can act on
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA qualification, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

- Multi-entity or multi-currency consolidation experience
- Debt-structure modelling, or exposure to a financing, fundraising or investor process
- A background in a SaaS, cloud or tech scale-up, or formal modelling training from an accounting firm, investment bank or corporate finance team
- Experience automating forecasting or reporting with Power BI, scripting or AI tools
