Bowers Internship Summary:

Committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the best people across our firm and business service groups. Bowers Accountants Advisors is looking for highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our team for Summer 2027!

## Responsibilities

- Familiarity and ability to learn accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
- Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality
- Become familiar with and effectively utilize software for Auditing
- Communicate status updates to managers/supervisors as needed

## Key Objectives

- Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers’ mission and client-centric philosophy in mind.
- Learn the audit process: information gathering, client follow-up, preparation, and completion.
- Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.
- Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Participate in firm outings and activities as able.

## Qualifications

- Active enrollment and a major in Accounting, Business, or Finance (Junior standing or above is preferred)
- Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting
- Interested in meeting the college requirement towards CPA eligibility
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule:

- Part-time- Seasonal Internship - Minimum of 10 hours a week
- Internship will end in the August timeframe

Pay: $20.00-$30.00/hour

## COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.
