We’re building an autonomous, zero-emissions hauler that dramatically lowers the cost of freight with groundbreaking vision-based AI, designed for today’s global logistics network. We’re a fast-moving, close-knit team of AV industry veterans and innovative thinkers. We don’t believe culture can be engineered – but when it falls into place, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Progress has never felt so present. Position Overview The Supply Chain Manager drives the supply chain that turns Humble's autonomous vehicle designs into physical, deployable products. This role leads sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and materials planning across the mechanical, electrical, and electronic components that make up our vehicles and charging systems. The Supply Chain Manager also owns the commercial relationships with our strategic suppliers, negotiating on cost, terms, and long-term partnerships. Working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and manufacturing, the Supply Chain Manager ensures parts arrive on time, at target cost, and at the quality our programs demand across every stage of the product, from early prototype builds through production ramp. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving hardware startup and enjoys building scalable processes while keeping today's builds unblocked. ## Key Responsiblities - Own end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for vehicle, autonomous technology and/or charging hardware, from sourcing through delivery. - Manage sourcing, procurement, and purchasing for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, balancing cost, quality, and lead time. - Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers and contract manufacturers; drive commercial engagement with strategic suppliers, leading negotiations on cost, terms, and long-term supply agreements. - Manage materials planning, inventory, and logistics with operations, and mitigate supply risks and shortages to keep builds on track. - Partner closely with engineering to drive design-for-supply-chain, manage long-lead items, and support part selection and second-sourcing. - Track and drive key metrics including on-time delivery, cost, inventory levels, and supplier quality; lead supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement efforts as needed. - Establish scalable procurement processes, tools, and workflows appropriate to a growing hardware company. - Ensure compliance with trade, customs, and regulatory requirements across the supply base. ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management for hardware or manufactured products. - Demonstrated experience sourcing and managing suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components. - Strong understanding of BOMs, materials planning, lead times, and cost/quality trade-offs. - Experience negotiating supplier pricing, terms, and supply agreements. - Proficiency with supply chain planning tools. - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with engineering and operations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under ambiguity and time pressure. - Eligible to work in the United States. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience in the automotive, EV, robotics, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing industry. - Experience scaling a supply chain from prototype through production ramp. - Familiarity with vehicle components, powertrain, battery, or charging hardware supply chains. - Experience with contract manufacturers and global/international sourcing. - Background in design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-supply-chain collaboration with engineering. - Knowledge of trade compliance, customs, and import/export requirements. - Experience working in a fast-paced startup or early-stage hardware environment. ## Compensation This role is eligible for base salary + benefits + equity compensation. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including qualifications, skills, experience, and location. As part of the interview process, we may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to compare your qualifications and experience to the job description. A human reviews all AI output and makes a final hiring decision. Humble Robotics does not rely on the output to make any employment decisions. Some applicants may have a legal right to opt-out of the use of AI as part of our interview process. Contact legal@humblerobotics.ai to exercise this right or if you have further questions on the use of AI tools in our hiring process. Humble Robotics is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, national origin, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status or any other characteristics protected by law. Humble Robotics will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in a manner consistent with local ordinances. ## About Humble Robotics ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Humble Robotics develops fully autonomous, electric Class 8 haulers to decarbonize and lower the cost of commercial freight transportation. - **Entity Type**: Private (Seed stage) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, United States - **Founded**: 2026 - **Founders**: Eyal Cohen ## Core Business - Primary industry/industries: Autonomous vehicles, Robotics, Logistics, Freight transportation - Target customers: Enterprise logistics providers, freight carriers, and global supply chain networks (B2B) - Mission or purpose statement: "Decarbonizing freight transportation, the backbone of global supply chains but also a major contributor to greenhouse gases." ## Products & Services - **[Humble Hauler]**: A fully autonomous, electric Class 8 hauler designed for dock-to-dock freight movement.
