You function as the primary analytical link between strategic purchasing decisions and operational inventory needs. Your main mission is to ensure optimal stock availability (raw materials, components) while driving cost efficiency and minimising risks of shortages or obsolescence. You actively collaborate with the Procurement team to integrate market insights into tangible planning actions. ## Responsibilities Operational Planning and Procurement Strategy Support - Demand Translation: Analyze sales forecasts and production schedules to accurately determine raw material and component requirements (MRP/DRP). - Supplier Ordering: Generate, send, and monitor purchase orders (POs) based on planning requirements, ensuring alignment with procurement contracts and volume agreements. - Inventory Optimization: Define, monitor, and adjust planning parameters (safety stock, reorder points, EOQ) in the ERP to maintain target inventory levels and reduce working capital.
