We are a team of scientists and engineers building frontier world model-based AI. We combine the scientific rigor of a top-tier research institute with focus on engineering excellence and execution. We are a global company, with offices in Paris, Montreal, New York, and Singapore. Come build the future of AI with us! About the Role: We’re looking for a Talent Intelligence Partner to help us identify, understand, and engage exceptional AI talent around the world. This is a sourcing-led recruiting role. You’ll spend much of your time researching the frontier AI landscape, mapping leading labs, universities, startups, and research communities, and building relationships with exceptional researchers and engineers, often well before they are considering their next move. Your job isn’t simply to fill open roles. It’s to understand where exceptional AI talent is emerging and help AMI build relationships before those individuals become obvious candidates. This is also a hands-on startup role. You should be scrappy, resourceful, and willing to jump into whatever keeps a critical search moving—from recruiting operations and interview scheduling to candidate management, offers, and closing. Your primary focus will remain sourcing and talent intelligence, but no part of the recruiting process should feel beneath you. You’ll work closely with Talent, hiring managers, and researchers to shape hiring strategy, anticipate future talent needs, and help AMI become a destination for the world’s best AI researchers and engineers. In this role, you will: - Own or support full-cycle recruiting for priority searches, including sourcing, inbound pipeline management, candidate screening, offer strategy, and closing. - Manage inbound candidates by screening, assessing, and progressing high-potential talent through the interview process. - Build proactive sourcing strategies for Research Scientists, Research Engineers, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and other frontier AI roles. - Develop detailed talent maps across frontier AI labs, universities, startups, conferences, and open-source communities. - Produce actionable talent intelligence on competitor hiring, talent movement, emerging research areas, and high-potential individuals. - Design practical, scalable sourcing systems and processes that strengthen AMI's ability to identify and engage exceptional talent. - Jump in wherever needed to keep hiring moving, including interview scheduling, recruiting operations, ATS management, and candidate coordination. - Deliver a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience from first outreach through offer acceptance. What we're looking for: - Significant experience sourcing and recruiting exceptional talent. - Deep interest in AI research and understanding emerging technologies, research areas, and technical communities. - Experience recruiting AI/ML, Research Scientist, Research Engineer, or similarly technical profiles. - Comfort reading technical papers, following leading researchers, and developing an informed perspective on where important work is happening. - A scrappy, low-ego, startup mindset—you are equally comfortable developing a long-term talent strategy and solving an immediate scheduling or coordination problem. - Strong candidate engagement and closing skills, particularly with passive or highly sought-after talent. - The ability to operate independently, make progress through ambiguity, and build structure where little exists. - Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. - A resourceful, self-directed, and naturally investigative approach. ## Nice to Have - Experience at a frontier AI lab, leading research organization, or top technology company. - An existing network within the global AI research community. - Experience recruiting globally across multiple locations. - Hands-on recruiting operations experience, including Ashby or another modern ATS. - Familiarity with major AI conferences, including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, and EMNLP. - Experience building a talent intelligence or sourcing function from the ground up. - Exceptional sourcing skills across arXiv, LinkedIn, GitHub, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, conference proceedings, open-source communities, referrals, and other non-traditional channels. Workplace & Location Paris, France This role is based in our Paris office and requires 4 days per week onsite, with flexibility for one remote day each week. ## About AMI ## Core Business - Primary industry: AI research and development, with a focus on world models for real-world understanding. - Target customers: B2B enterprises in industrial process control, automation, robotics, healthcare, and wearable devices; also partners with industry and academic researchers. - Mission: “Real intelligence does not start in language. It starts in the world.” – Build AI systems that are reliable, controllable, and safe by learning abstract representations of real-world sensor data. ## Products & Services - **World Models**: Action-conditioned AI models that learn abstract representations of continuous, high-dimensional sensor data (e.g., cameras, sensors) and predict consequences of actions. Used for planning, control, and safety in industrial automation, robotics, healthcare, and wearables. - **Research & Open Source**: Publishes findings openly and contributes to the global academic community; aims to advance AI research with a focus on reliability and safety. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (private company). - **Key Metric**: Total funding of $1.03B USD (~€890M) in a single seed round (closed February 2026). - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Co-led by Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, Hiro Capital, HV Capital, and Bezos Expeditions. Strategic backers include Toyota Ventures, New Legacy Ventures, Temasek, SBVA, NVIDIA, Mark Cuban, Samsung, Publicis Groupe, Xavier Niel, Eric Schmidt, and others. - **Growth Signals**: Headcount of 54 employees (as of mid-2026) with monthly growth of +24.6%. Recruiting across multiple continents (Paris, New York, Montreal, Singapore). Talented team sourced from Meta, ByteDance, OpenAI, NYU, and others. ## Competitive Advantages - **Founding Team**: Led by Yann LeCun (former Chief AI Scientist at Meta) and a globally distinguished group of scientists and engineers. - **Unique Technical Approach**: Focuses on world models rather than generative language models, targeting reliability and safety for real-world applications. - **Massive Seed Round**: $1.03B provides deep resources for long-term research and scaling without near-term revenue pressure. - **Global Presence**: Operating from day one across four major AI hubs (Paris, NY, Montreal, Singapore) with a multicultural team. ## Strategic Focus - Advance world model research and develop applications where safety and controllability are critical. - Build partnerships with industry and product developers while maintaining open publications and open-source contributions. - Scale the team rapidly across research, engineering, and operations. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Frontier AI research lab with a mission-driven focus on real-world intelligence; emphasis on open science and collaboration. - **Remote/Hybrid/Office**: Hybrid presence in four global locations; likely flexible given the distributed setup. - **Notable Perks**: Work alongside world-renowned researchers (Yann LeCun, Pascale Fung, Saining Xie), access to massive compute and funding, opportunity to shape a new paradigm in AI. - **Engineering Culture**: Strong research-to-engineering pipeline; roles span world models, infrastructure, and applied AI. ## Sources 1.
