This is a senior role where you will own a major product bet, mentor other engineers, and drive architectural direction—while still spending more than half of your time building. You’ll work across low-latency decisioning, data pipelines, and service orchestration layers to make our platform reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly. The work spans real-time bidding systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and reproducible deployment tooling. WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: - You have experience leading multi-person or even multi-team projects. - You know when to empower/influence another person or team, and when to roll up your sleeves and implement it yourself - Deep systems experience. You’ve built or scaled distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems—ideally in advertising, recommendations, or another real-time domain. - Strong with compiled languages. You’re fluent in one or more of Go, Rust, C++, Scala, or Java, and write code with clarity, correctness, and performance in mind. - Architectural ownership. You can design clean interfaces, modular service boundaries, and deployment patterns that scale with product and team growth. - Operational maturity.
