One engine works across the pharmacy journey to identify patients who qualify for care, improve medication access, capture eligible prescriptions and support patients throughout treatment. Latent’s platform enables more than 60 leading health systems that collectively serve an estimated 70 million people. Founded by Sriram “Sri” Somasundaram and Rishabh Jain, Latent has raised $80 million from Transformation Capital, Spark Capital, Conviction, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and others. ## The Role We're looking for a Recruiter who can independently own searches from pipeline development through close. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable sourcing their own candidates, managing inbound, partnering closely with hiring managers, and ultimately being accountable for hiring outcomes—not just recruiting activity. Within your first 3–6 months, we expect you to build and manage healthy pipelines across your roles and consistently drive an average of 2–3 hires per month. ## What You'll Do - Own searches end-to-end. Partner with hiring managers to define the profile and interview process, build the pipeline, manage candidates through interviews, and close. - Build your own pipeline. Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound or referrals. - Create clarity with hiring managers. Develop a strong understanding of what great looks like, use candidate data and market feedback to sharpen the profile, and keep searches moving when there is ambiguity. - Manage pipeline health. Know where every search stands, identify gaps early, and take action before a pipeline becomes a problem. - Deliver consistent hiring outcomes. Build toward an average of 2–3 hires per month while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality. - Help us get better. Bring judgment and ideas to how we source, interview, close, and operate as a recruiting team as Latent continues to scale. ## What We're Looking For - Experience recruiting for software and technology companies, with a strong understanding of how to identify and engage talent in competitive technical markets. - Strong sourcing ability. You know how to build a pipeline from scratch and aren't dependent on inbound candidates or agencies to deliver. - Experience owning searches end-to-end, including intake, sourcing, candidate management, hiring manager partnership, offer, and close. - High ownership and accountability. - Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly while still exercising good judgment. - Strong communicator who can build trust with candidates and hiring managers without overcomplicating things. ## Nice to Have - A mix of agency and in-house recruiting experience, particularly at high-growth startups. - Experience recruiting across different company stages—from early-stage startups to larger technology companies. - Experience joining a company during a period of rapid growth and helping build recruiting processes without adding unnecessary complexity. ## Why Join Latent - Backed by top-tier investors including General Catalyst, Conviction, and Y Combinator - Work alongside a high-caliber team building products our healthcare partners love - Work on mission-critical problems at the intersection of AI and healthcare - Real ownership and visibility - High-impact role on a small, fast-growing team - Join at a stage where recruiting has a direct impact on the trajectory of the company and you'll have meaningful ownership over how we build the team ## Benefits - Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity - Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents - Flexible PTO policy - Paid parental leave - Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot ## About Latent ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Latent provides an enterprise pharmacy intelligence platform that uses a clinical AI engine to automate medication access workflows—such as prior authorizations and appeals—for health systems. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, United States - **Founded**: 2022 - **Founders**: Rishabh Jain and Sriram Somasundaram ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Healthcare IT, AI-powered clinical operations, pharmacy intelligence - **Target customers**: B2B; large health systems (hospitals and health networks) – currently serving over 45 partners including 50% of the top 20 U.S. health systems. - **Mission or purpose statement**: “Closing the distance between a therapeutic decision and a patient receiving therapy” by automating the manual knowledge work that sits between a doctor’s order and treatment. ## Products & Services - **Clinical Reasoning Engine**: An AI platform that performs clinical knowledge work—reasoning through patient data, interpreting drug criteria, extracting evidence, and orchestrating workflows across EHR, payers, pharmacies, and patients. Values include bias to action, practical innovation, and customer obsession (regularly visiting partner sites). - **Remote/Hybrid**: Remote-friendly (headquarters in San Francisco; team is distributed). - **Notable perks/engineering culture**: Fast-moving environment with ambitious product and GTM goals; opportunity to work on one of healthcare’s hardest problems using modern AI/ML; team size ~50 (as of early 2026) – still a growth-stage startup. ## Sources 1.
