Description Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Technical Requirements Systems Engineer to support the team and assist with overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system. Candidates should be passionate about collaboratively solving challenging problems and have a track record of delivering high-quality solutions. Candidates will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition. Candidates will work closely with the Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos. ## Requirements Security Clearance: - Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. - Four (4) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. - Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience - Shall have a minimum of fourteen (14) years experience as a Systems Engineer performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, or performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis. Required Skills: - Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services) - Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements - Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations - Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences - Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence Desired Skills: - Coordinating the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture - Serving as a key technical liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts. Effectively present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, continuously seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems This position is open for direct hires only.
