Position Overview Red 6 is seeking an experienced Technical Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain execution for internally designed, complex aerospace products supporting both internal production and contract manufacturing partners. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers, ensuring that critical components, assemblies, and custom hardware are sourced, qualified, and delivered in alignment with Red 6’s strict DOD, aerospace, and industry standards. The ideal candidate has deep experience managing supply chains for complex electromechanical systems including PCBAs, harnesses, precision mechanical components, and custom aerospace hardware. This position will play a key role in managing Red 6’s blended Approved Manufacturer List (AML) strategy, where certain custom components are sourced directly by Red 6 while most materials are procured through sub-contractors and contract manufacturers (CMs). This is a highly cross-functional leadership role requiring strong technical understanding, supplier engagement, and clear communication with senior leadership. ## Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Strategy & Execution - Manage the technical supply chain for complex aerospace electromechanical products. - Lead sourcing strategies supporting both Red 6 internal builds and contract manufacturer production. - Support scaling of production through supplier capacity planning and risk mitigation. - Ensure continuity of supply for critical components including PCBAs, custom electronics, cables/harnesses, and precision mechanical assemblies. - Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to schedule, cost, or technical constraints.
