## Job description

We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Technology Lead to spearhead the development and scaling of our high-performance exchange platform at Coins.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic leadership. You will design and implement robust, microservices-based Java applications, mentor a talented team of developers, and collaborate across international borders to support our global expansion. ## What You'll Do

Development & Leadership:

- Lead the development of the exchange platform, ensuring seamless operations and high performance
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Java-based applications and systems
- Write high-quality, scalable, and efficient code using Java and relevant technologies
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments
- Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering their technical growth and career development
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Continuously stay updated on emerging technologies and apply industry best practice

Cross-Cultural Relations:

- Foster and manage relationships across diverse cultures, supporting the global expansion of Coins

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and standards, collaborating with compliance teams to integrate KYC and Fiat transaction processes effectively

Required Tech Skills:

- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks for building microservices-based applications
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers
- Strong knowledge of databases, including MySQL and NoSQL (e.g., Redis)
- Familiarity with middleware (e.g., Kafka,RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and API design
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with system performance optimization is a plus
