## Your mission

- We are looking for a motivated Trading Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) to support us in the green revolution of the electricity market as a digital and smart electricity provider.
- As a key member of our Trading team, you will take full ownership of the infrastructure that powers our trading platform.

## Your tasks

- Provide and maintain compute infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring for our trading systems, and manage associated cloud costs
- Own system architecture for our trading platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance
- Manage exchange connectivity and provide engineering support across our trading infrastructure
- Drive how we build with AI: roll out coding agents, set shared agent rules and guardrails, and keep MCP integrations and context docs consistent across repos

## Your profile

- Degree in Computer Science or similar and 4+ years of experience in trading infrastructure engineering or a related field
- Proven ability to write production-grade code (Python or similar), following best engineering practices (Git, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews)
- Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, including operating compute (e.g. ECS, Lambda), data and messaging services (e.g. Firehose, SQS, Postgres, DynamoDB, S3), and monitoring (CloudWatch)
- Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker) and observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting)
- Experience with MLOps and ML infrastructure, e.g. model training, deployment, scheduling, data processing and monitoring in cloud environments
- Strong understanding of system architecture design for high-availability, low-latency systems
- Familiarity with AI coding tools and AI-assisted workflows
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2–C1)

## Nice to have

- Experience with exchange connectivity (e.g. EPEX / EEX or ISVs)
- Experience with Ray and Airflow
- Experience with Terraform
- Understanding of European energy markets
- German language skills
- Previous start-up experience
