This position starts at 5:00 AM

## POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Production Managers, Supervisors, and Leads, performs work for production and packaging lines.

## ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Manages the loading of chocolate into tanks for production use.
- Forms and loads shipping cartons; manually stacks and moves cased products.
- Provides logistical support for all production and packaging activities.
- Weighs, loads, mixes, and cooks ingredients to prepare candy and related products.
- Stacks and pallets products to finish-packaging line.
- Understands and works safely with heavy equipment, including but not limited to various pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and forklifts.
- Collaborates with other employees to ensure smooth production with no interruptions in the supply of needed items throughout the day.
- Cleans factory areas and provides janitorial and maintenance support as needed.
- Assists with off-season cleaning.
- Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Regular attendance is required for the position.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience/training is required.
- Must provide Tuberculosis (TB) certificate from a valid medical provider as required by the State of Hawaii, Department of Health.
- Strong ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.
- Ability to reach, grasp, and handle tasks at a machine-paced level of activity.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English at a high school level.
