Deliver infrastructure as a reliable, secure and cost-disciplined service across the Group: directing outsourced managed services and infrastructure contracts to measurable outcomes, and ensuring the estate operates and evolves without becoming the constraint on the Group's growth. The role is for a UAE National. ## ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Infrastructure Operations: Own the operation of networks, firewalls, data centers and connectivity across the Group and subsidiaries. Ensure high availability, performance and capacity of the infrastructure estate with clear operational accountability. Run infrastructure change and maintenance with discipline, protecting dependent services. Managed Services & Contracts: Direct outsourced IT Managed Services for infrastructure, with clear scope, service levels and performance management. Manage infrastructure services contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring commercial discipline and resilience. Ensure on-site operational presence and cross-entity delivery where the business requires it. Resilience & Security Execution: Implement infrastructure resilience: redundancy, failover and disaster recovery execution at infrastructure level. Execute security controls on network and infrastructure in partnership with Information Security: secure configuration, segmentation, patching. Support cyber incident response with infrastructure containment and recovery actions. Modernization & Cost Discipline: Proactively manage infrastructure lifecycle, technical debt and obsolescence. Drive modernization toward automation, software-defined infrastructure and cloud alignment with the Cloud & DevOps team. Own infrastructure cost transparency and optimization. Standards & Coordination: Enforce Group infrastructure standards across subsidiaries, reducing local variants. Coordinate with Cloud & DevOps, Data Platforms and Information Security on the boundaries between cloud, platform and physical infrastructure. Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead the infrastructure team, including architecture and network capabilities, and direct outsourced partners. Develop infrastructure engineering depth and support Emiratization objectives. What This Role Is Not: Not a cloud platform engineering role; cloud platforms are owned by the Cloud & DevOps team. Not a hands-on-only technical role; the mandate is directing services and contracts to outcomes. This role keeps the foundation of the Group's technology estate running: secure, resilient and cost-disciplined. ## RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE Minimum of 10+ years in infrastructure operations leadership within large, complex organizations. ## YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION Minimum of 2+ years of managerial experience in a related field. ## FIELD OF EXPERIENCE Networks, data centers and infrastructure services at group or multi-entity scale Directing outsourced infrastructure managed services and contracts Infrastructure security, resilience and disaster recovery execution ## TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS Calm, methodical operator; infrastructure failures are high-visibility, and recovery discipline matters Strong vendor and contract manager; converts managed services into reliable outcomes Security-conscious by default; treats secure configuration as part of operations, not an add-on Modernizer; balances operational stability with automation and lifecycle renewal ## QUALIFICATION Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required Master's degree is preferable ## About Aldar Properties PJSC ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Aldar Properties PJSC is the leading real estate developer, manager, and investor in the UAE, master‑planning communities and managing a diversified portfolio across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and education. - **Entity Type**: Public (ticker: ALDAR on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange) - **Headquarters**: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - **Founded**: 2005 (IPO year; exact founding date not publicly available) - **Founders**: Not publicly available ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Real estate development, investment, property management, education, hospitality, and retail. - **Target customers**: B2B (corporate tenants, government entities, institutional investors), B2C (residential buyers and tenants), and B2G (government housing projects). - **Mission or purpose statement**: Not explicitly stated in the provided sources, but the company emphasizes creating integrated, sustainable communities and delivering long‑term value to stakeholders while supporting the UAE’s Net Zero Strategic Initiative. ## Products & Services - **Aldar Development** – Master developer of large‑scale residential communities (e.g., Yas Island, Saadiyat Island, Al Raha, Reem Island) and commercial projects.
