Sonar is driving the future of agent-centric software development. As the leader in AI code review and verification, we solve a critical problem: ensuring that software generated by AI-assisted developers or autonomous agents is reliable, secure, and maintainable. Integrating seamlessly with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Devin, we help over 75% of the Fortune 100 build trusted, reliable, compliant software. Customers who use Sonar are 44% less likely to report an outage due to AI-generated code. We believe code verification is the critical missing link in the Agent-Centric Development Cycle (AC/DC). Industry giants like Nvidia, ServiceNow, Booking.com, Goldman Sachs, AstraZeneca, and Ford Motor Company count on us to provide independent, explainable, consistent review and governance of their AI-generated code via products like: SonarQube: The world’s leading AI code review and verification platform. SonarQube Foundation Agent: Currently topping the leaderboards for agentic software repair. SonarSweep & Sonar Context Augmentation: Providing the enterprise-grade context and constraints agents need to be truly effective. Our team operates across global hubs in Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C. We move with a mindset we call CODE: Committed to our customers and community. Obsessed with quality. Deliberate in our decisions. Effective as one team. With over $400M in revenue and profitable, fast-paced growth, we are building the backbone of the AI software revolution. If you’re hungry to have an impact, want to build at a fast pace, and ready to work at the forefront of AI, we want to hear from you. Position description As the VP, Domain Leader, you will be the strategic architect of Sonar’s core product ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will oversee a high-performing organization of approximately 20 product professionals, including Group Product Managers (GPMs). This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the heartbeat of our technical offering—the Sonar Platform and Code Orchestration layer—alongside our commercial engine, the Sonar Storefront (Billing, Permissions, Growth). You will also be the champion of the Developer Experience (DevEx), ensuring our UX, MCP, CLI, APIs, and integrations are world-class. You will work in a "power-couple" partnership with our VP of Engineering to deliver scalable, AI-driven solutions to a global B2B customer base. ## What you will do - Strategic Vision: Define and drive a compelling vision that aligns with Sonar’s long-term business goals. - Business Translation: Convert complex business needs into actionable product initiatives, balancing technical debt with rapid innovation. - Domain Evangelism: Act as the primary advocate for your domain both internally (to the C-suite and Sales) and externally (to customers and the developer community). - Execution & GTM Readiness: Personally lead the demonstration of MVPs and ensure the entire domain is primed for Go-To-Market success, working closely with Marketing and Sales. - Cross-Domain Orchestration: Serve as the strategic "smoother" for cross-domain initiatives. While GPMs and PMs own the tactical execution, you remove high-level friction and ensure alignment across the broader organization. - Performance Monitoring: Take full accountability for the health of your domain, specifically tracking and optimizing ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and Product Adoption metrics. - AI Transformation: Lead the change in integrating AI into the product lifecycle and the product itself, transforming how the team works and how our customers experience Sonar. ## Experience and qualifications - Proven Leadership: 10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 6+ years in an international leadership capacity managing managers (GPMs/Directors) in fast-paced technical environments. - B2B Impact: A track record of delivering large-scale deployments to B2B customers with measurable business impact (e.g., significant revenue growth, enhanced engagement, or operational cost savings). - Deep Technical DNA: You are at home serving technical users. You have a deep understanding of Platform infrastructure, APIs, and CLI tools, with the ability to translate these complex concepts into business value for an executive audience. - Visionary Communication: Exceptional ability to influence and inspire. You can articulate a "big picture" vision to the C-level while remaining grounded in the technical realities of engineering. - People First: A proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain a multi-disciplinary team. You foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and high-velocity delivery. - Growth Mindset: Comfort operating in an organization with 30%+ YoY growth. You are flexible, open to change, and thrive in environments where scaling is a continuous demand. - AI Literacy: Hands-on experience with AI technologies and a clear vision for how AI can transform product development and user experience. Benefits of Working with Sonar: - We encourage usage of our robust time-off allocations with 27 PTO days for our employees based out of the Geneva region, plus additional days based on seniority and circumstances. - We contribute 60% of the total cost for your pension; 13.5% to 15.5% of your base salary for savings; 2% for risk. - Commuting: Sustainable mobility options, including carpooling and the refund of 60% of the annual transportation subscription. - Global workforce with employees in 20+ countries representing 35+ unique nationalities. - We have an annual kick-off somewhere in the world where we meet to build relationships and goals for the company. We value diversity, equity, and inclusion At Sonar, we believe that our diversity is our strength. We are a global company that values and respects different backgrounds, perspectives, and cultures.
