We are committed to continuous innovation in cell therapy, including gene-edited cell therapy, which may be a promising option for patients with cancer. ## Overview The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for performing basic GMP warehouse functions at our manufacturing site and will be handling vendor orders, and interactions, checking all packages for quality assurance, inventory management, distribution, shipping, cleaning duties, while maintaining safety precautions. Shift: 11/12 Hour-Days-Shift B, Wednesday to Saturday 7:00am to 7:30pm. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Perform all aspects of receiving, handling, storing, shipping and documenting GMP and Non GMP raw materials, components, supplies and finished products in an accurate and timely manner. - Reconcile purchase orders and packing slips with appropriate Finance and Supply Chain Procurement associates. - Participate in the material flow and inventory management at 3rd party warehouses, where applicable. - Distribute products, supplies, equipment, etc. to various departments and facilities, internally and externally. - Dispose materials as per SOP requirements and state/local regulations. - Conduct regular physical counts on all inventory and reconcile with appropriate inventory management system, investigate raw material discrepancies/variances. - Participate in non-conformance investigations and deviations where necessary. - Operator material handling equipment including fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc. - Engage in necessary warehouse cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping the warehouse and bulk storage, mopping, general cleaning and dusting of warehouse walls, door panels, racks, containers, etc., and transport trash to disposal areas. - Maintain required technical training on SOPs and certifications (ie. cGMP, HAZMAT, forklift training, etc.). - Adhere to all safety warehouse operations and contents, security procedures and protocols. - Must adhere to Iovance Biotherapeutics’ core values, policies, procedures, and business ethics. - Comply with Safety SOPs, SDS sheets, and laboratory procedures per company policy and OSHA regulations. - Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge - Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate across disciplines. - Excellent organization skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established guidelines. - Must be comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities with a strong attention to detail. - Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (Squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders) is required. - Ability to lift to 50 lbs. - Valid Driver’s License - Must be able to work well in a team setting. - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. - Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software (i.e., ERP/MES). - Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends. Preferred Education, Skills, and Knowledge - 1-5 years of experience working in a GMP warehouse setting or in logistics experience in operating material handling equipment preferred. - Experience and/or certification in operating material handling equipment preferred (i.e., forklift).
