Agentic security is the practice of discovering and governing the relationships between LLMs, MCP servers, and the APIs that let AI agents take action. The Salt Security Agentic Security Platform secures the full agentic ecosystem, discovering all agents, MCP connections, and APIs, stopping attacks in real time, and eliminating vulnerabilities before they reach production. We also enjoy all the benefits of a startup environment, including quickly seeing the results of your work, making an outsized impact on our company, and solving diverse challenges. Want to make a big difference? We encourage you to apply! About the role: We’re looking for a Website Manager to take ownership of Salt Security’s digital front door and help shape how customers discover, understand, and engage with our brand. You’ll combine strategy, creativity, and data to build high-impact web experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and pipeline, while helping Salt stand out across search, AI-powered discovery, and the evolving digital landscape. If you love turning websites into growth engines and thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you. ## Requirements - Web experience strategy. Define the structure, journey logic, and standards across the Salt website, mapping experiences to distinct personas and buyer-journey stages, from discovery through evaluation to decision. This includes security architects, AppSec engineers, and CISOs navigating a complex, high-consideration purchase. - Conversion and engagement. Own how effectively pages convert and engage. Run a continuous testing and optimization program (A/B and multivariate), set targets, and improve key conversion paths across the funnel, from awareness content to demo requests and trial sign-ups. - Search and answer visibility (SEO/AEO/GEO). Own how Salt gets found across traditional search, answer engines, and AI-driven discovery. This means technical SEO, structured data, direct-answer placements, and ensuring Salt's narrative is accurately represented in LLM-powered search. - Web development and design collaboration. Partner with developers and designers to execute the website roadmap, providing clear requirements, creative briefs, and project context to move work forward efficiently and keep every build tied to business objectives. - Cross-functional alignment. Partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and Sales to align the web experience with Salt's messaging, campaigns, and go-to-market motions. - Measurement and reporting. Define KPIs, build dashboards, and report on web performance, tying metrics to pipeline and revenue across the funnel and giving stakeholders a clear view of what the website is actually contributing. ## Experience - 2-3+ years in digital/web marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity, with demonstrated ownership of web strategy and performance outcomes. - A strong grasp of persona-based marketing and multi-stakeholder buyer journeys, and the ability to translate them into web experiences. - Proven experience directing or briefing development and design teams (in-house or agency). - A track record of cross-functional partnership and communication. - Strong command of search visibility across SEO, AEO, and GEO, plus conversion rate optimization and web analytics (e.g., GA4). - Fluency with the modern web marketing stack: CMS platform (Webflow), A/B testing tools (Keak, Microsoft Clarity), SEO/AEO tooling (Profound, SEMrush, Screaming Frog), and tag/analytics management (Google Tag Manager). - Ability to translate business goals into clear technical and design requirements. - A data-driven mindset paired with strong cross-functional communication. ## About Salt Security ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Cybersecurity (API security, Agentic AI security) - **Target customers**: B2B, primarily large enterprises and global organizations - **Mission or purpose statement**: “To be the global leader in Agentic Security.” ## Products & Services - **Agentic Security Platform**: End-to-end platform that maps every agent, MCP server, and API into an “Agentic Security Graph” to provide discovery, posture management, and runtime protection. - **API Posture Governance**: Enforces custom corporate standards for API compliance throughout the lifecycle. - **Behavioral Threat Detection**: Uses ML/AI to establish a baseline of legitimate API behavior and detect anomalies including “low and slow” attacks. - **Sensitive Data Exposure Prevention**: Identifies exposed sensitive data across APIs, including proprietary data types. - **Agentic Discovery**: Automatically discovers all AI agents, MCP servers, shadow APIs, and zombie APIs across the environment. - **Runtime Protection**: Real-time detection of abuse, anomalous behavior, and active attacks across the full agentic stack (LLMs, MCP servers, APIs). ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not publicly available (company is private; Crunchbase tags it as a “Unicorn”) - **Key Metric**: Total funding – not disclosed; last round was a Venture – Series Unknown in September 2022 - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Backed by 18 investors including **CrowdStrike Falcon Fund** and **Sequoia Capital**.
