We plan to hire 10-12 highly talented individuals with a range of experiences for our first cohort; while each person will be based in New York or London, they’ll collaborate with Xantium colleagues around the world.  The overall experience shall enable Fellows to discover their natural niche, hone in on an ideal role and team, and transition into their permanent professional home at the end of the program. Program Structure - Six-Month Timeline: The program begins with an “Initial Immersion” rotation featuring 10-12 weeks of immediate, hands-on deployment into real work alongside seasoned professionals.  Fellows then transition into a 3-week cohort-wide classroom training led by experienced speakers and Xantium leadership hosted at one of Xantium’s main offices.  The experience concludes with a 10-12 week “Capstone” rotation of more advanced deployment, allowing Fellows to build off their learnings to tackle another set of projects. - Dedicated Mentorship: Fellows are matched with a long-term career "Advisor" for the full six months, alongside rotation-specific business unit "Facilitators" who provide immediate team onboarding and daily project direction. - Fluid Learning Tracks: Rather than rigid silos, the structure allows Fellows to tailor their journey, absorbing both Trading and Analysis content to find the unique intersection that best suits one’s talents. ## Key Responsibilities - Perform fundamental and quantitative research, analyzing market dynamics, industry trends, and company-specific data to support actionable investment decisions. - Build and maintain financial models, monitor portfolio risks, and assist in evaluating complex company valuations. - Fuel trading desks by analyzing pricing, simulating market dynamics, and assisting with trade execution and lifecycle management. - Drive key business initiatives alongside Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Traders, collaborating with colleagues globally across London, New York, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Hong Kong. ## Qualifications - Strong academic and extracurricular record in university pursuits. - Demonstrated interest in financial markets, company research, trading, and/or business strategy. - High adaptability and self-direction, capable of seamlessly transitioning between rigorous academic theory and hands-on execution. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with executive leadership and a global team. - Deep intellectual curiosity and a relentless drive to thrive in a fast-paced, rigorous investment environment. Compensation: Xantium Academy Fellows in New York can expect to earn $150,000 to $175,000+ base.  Total compensation for all Xantium Academy Fellows also includes a large annual bonus which is guaranteed in year one and based on employee and firm performance thereafter. ## About Xantium ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Xantium is a global multi-strategy investment firm that combines quantitative research with human expertise to trade across equities, futures, options, FX, bonds, and commodities. - **Entity Type**: Private (division of Tudor Group, a partnership) - **Headquarters**: New City, New York, United States (with offices in London, Salt Lake City, and Abu Dhabi) - **Founded**: 2019 (as part of Tudor Group) - **Founders**: Not publicly disclosed (part of the Tudor Group structure) ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Investment Management / Hedge Funds / Quantitative Finance - **Target customers**: Institutional investors (via Tudor Group); the firm itself trades proprietary capital - **Mission or purpose statement**: "We build technology enhanced by human insight to trade global markets" – combining institutional strength with startup velocity to find opportunities others may miss. ## Products & Services - **Multi-Strategy Trading**: Systematic, quantitative, and discretionary/fundamental strategies across global markets.
