Lucanet Group

Account Executive, DACH at Lucanet Group (Germany)

Lucanet Group· Germany·

Job description

The Role

As an Account Executive (all genders), you will own your territory and build your business across the DACH region, selling consolidation and planning, disclosure management (including ESG reporting), and banking and cash management solutions to upper-mid-market companies. This is transactional, high-velocity sales with deal cycles of around three months, not long enterprise sales cycles. You manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying and developing new opportunities through to closing the deal, and take full accountability for your commercial results.

You will join our DACH New Business team of 10 Account Executives, a fast-growing team still shaping its playbook, giving you room to bring your own ideas on how we prospect and structure deals. This role offers entrepreneurial ownership of your territory, backed by the stability of an established market leader. We look for people who keep growing, take real ownership, and lift the people around them.

What you'll do

Reporting into the DACH Sales leadership team, you will:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business across your DACH territory through targeted outreach and prospecting.
  • Build and execute your own pipeline strategy, deciding where to focus and how to engage.
  • Run high-impact prospecting activities and shape go-to-market moves that drive your pipeline.
  • Design tailored solution concepts that address each prospect's specific business challenges.
  • Structure and negotiate deals with C-level stakeholders within defined commercial guardrails.
  • Manage the full sales process from first contact to signed contract, and deliver against targets.
  • Partner with our sales engineering team to give customers comprehensive technical guidance.

What you bring

You have:

  • A proven track record in B2B SaaS, software, or IT solution sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, ideally in a hunter or new-business role.
  • A business-owner mentality: you take initiative, hold yourself accountable, and don't wait for direction.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, particularly with C-level decision-makers.
  • Fluent German and business-level English.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region as needed.

It's a plus if you also have:

  • Experience in the finance, tax, or accounting industry.
  • A professional network in SaaS, finance, or compliance across DACH.
  • An interest in contributing ideas to how the team prospects and sells.

Perks at work

  • Flexible and hybrid working: our Lucaflex model lets you plan your working hours and location according to your needs and professional responsibilities.
  • Remote work from another country: work up to 90 days a year outside your home country, supported by our partner Workflex.
  • Professional development budget: get dedicated time, resources, and budget to build the skills for your career path.
  • Structured feedback process: Lucanet Engage supports your personal and professional development through regular dialogue.
  • Paid volunteer days: take the time to volunteer, alone or with your team, for causes you care about.
  • Health and wellbeing support: access company wellbeing programs, sport subsidies, and mental health support through external partners.
  • Paid vacation days: take 30 days a year to rest, travel, and recharge.
  • Health & Sports Support Benefit: additional support toward your health and fitness.
  • Pension support: build your retirement savings with employer pension contributions.
  • Corporate discounts platform: exclusive discounts across travel, retail, technology, and more.
