Job description
About Perry Weather
Perry Weather is the weather safety standard for organizations that operate outdoors. We combine on-site weather hardware with a software platform that automates alerts, siren activations, and safety decisions for more than 3,000 organizations — from the PGA of America, the NFL, and MLB to Turner Construction, thousands of school districts, cities, and golf courses. We've grown 80%+ annually for five consecutive years, and are continuing to grow.
We're headquartered in Dallas at The Centrum, in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, where our teams work together every day to help organizations make faster and safer decisions when weather puts people, assets, and operations at risk.
About the Role
Golf courses operate in one of the most weather-exposed environments in the world. Lightning, heat, and severe weather don't just create liability — they interrupt play, damage turf operations, and put members, guests, and staff at risk.
As our Golf Account Executive, you'll be the face of Perry Weather in this industry — building relationships with golf professionals, club managers, and operations leaders who set the standard for member experience and facility safety. You'll work with courses that take both seriously.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close within the golf vertical, including private clubs, resort properties, and management companies
- Develop strategic account plans targeting high-profile facilities where weather safety, member experience, and operational continuity are top priorities
- Build relationships on the ground — visiting courses, attending PGA Section events, and becoming a trusted presence in the golf community
- Leverage our partnerships with the PGA of America and state PGA Sections to open doors, drive referrals, and create program-level opportunities
- Manage a pipeline of net new business while expanding relationships within existing club accounts
- Represent Perry Weather at golf industry events, trade shows, and association meetings
- Bring field insights back to marketing and product teams to sharpen how we serve this market
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally selling into the golf, hospitality, or club management space
- A hunter mentality with a track record of winning net new business
- Genuine familiarity with the golf industry — how clubs operate, how decisions get made, and who makes them
- Strong account planning, pipeline management, and deal strategy skills
- High personal accountability and confidence leading conversations with GMs, Directors of Golf, and ownership groups
- Comfort working independently in a field-heavy role where relationships are built face-to-face (40% travel)
Why Sales at Perry Weather
80%+ annual growth for five consecutive years. A Series C company with real momentum, a clear category vision, and markets where the foundation is already built. This is a high-ceiling role for someone ready to run with it.
- 65%+ average annual quota attainment
- Uncapped commission plan that's easy to understand
- Competitive base salary
- High inbound volume
- Strong product-market fit
- Top 5% of sales orgs on RepVue
- 4.8 stars on Glassdoor

- Good people, good times. Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too.
