The Role
The Veeva Team is looking for experienced Account Partners to drive sales within the Pharmaceutical Industry. As an Account Partner, you will be responsible for aligning customer objectives with Veeva’s Commercial Cloud solutions for Pharmaceutical Accounts. The successful candidate will do so by communicating across various business functions, organizational levels (including C-level), and technology departments. Creativity, initiative, and the ability to work effectively within a growing team are critical.
What You'll Do
- Understand and present the Veeva products and inspire prospect interest
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT, and C-level
- Lead long-term relationships and transactions with existing customers through customer success
- Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
- Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
- Be willing to travel
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in working as a large enterprise account management or working in a pharmaceutical company
- Ability to understand customer business needs and propose and implement appropriate solutions
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders, including C-level executives
- A proactive approach to managing complex sales processes and achieving results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
- Experience working successfully in a rapidly changing environment
- 4-year degree required
- Valid working visa in Japan is required
- Native Level of Japanese
- Business Level of English
Nice to Have
- Understanding of content management challenges in the life sciences industry and value of CRM is desired
