The Role
Are you a driven and committed finance professional with a genuine passion for accounting, leadership, and process development?
Netlight is seeking a Team Lead within accounting, who will be responsible for leading a team of GL accountants globally as well as supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes globally.
The position is located in our office in Munich but you will be collaborating with colleagues across all our offices in an international Finance team.
Who you are
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience within finance, accounting, or a similar field.
- Experience from an ERP system implementation is highly preferable; experience with leading cloud-based ERP solutions, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and manage change in finance processes.
- Experience from a similar team-lead or senior accountant/controller role is meriting.
- You are fluent in German & English (Netlight’s corporate language).
- You are solution-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving international environment.

What you will do
- Lead and oversee daily general ledger and accounting operations.
- Drive and support the month-end and year-end closings and reporting processes in cooperation with the group financial controller.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and income statement review.
- Oversee annual financial reporting and audit.
- Manage VAT, tax, and other authority reporting.
- Streamline and improve financial routines and processes on a global scale.
- Support and coach your team members, nurturing a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Act as project lead or finance expert in system implementation and development projects.
