Job Overview
Here at Wargaming, we are looking for an ActionScript UI Developer to strengthen the World of Tanks Modern Armor team.
You will join a talented and passionate team responsible for developing and maintaining the Game User Interface for our console game. Working closely with game designers, artists, QA engineers, and other developers, you will contribute to creating engaging experiences for our players and shaping the future of the game.

What will you do?
- Design, implement, and maintain UI features for the game client using ActionScript
- Develop user interfaces of varying complexity, including screens, menus, HUD elements, and interactive UI components
- Integrate UI solutions with the game client and existing game systems
- Support and maintain existing UI code and solutions
- Refactor existing code to keep it clean, reliable, and maintainable
- Implement and support UI animations and interactive elements
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and QA engineers throughout the UI development process
- Investigate and resolve UI-related issues and contribute to improving the overall quality of the game interface
- Participate in R&D activities and contribute to the development of UI solutions and practices
What are we looking for?
- 2+ years of professional experience in UI development using ActionScript
- Strong knowledge of ActionScript 3 and object-oriented programming
- Experience developing UI for games or other interactive products
- Understanding of UI architecture, patterns, and development principles
- Experience working with UI animations and interactive components

Experience with version control systems
- Experience working with design tools such as Figma
- Intermediate English (B2) or higher
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Professional experience in console or PC game development
- Experience with Scaleform or other game UI frameworks

Experience working with complex UI animations
- Knowledge of C++ or other programming languages

Experience with Python
- Experience working with proprietary game technologies or game engines
Work mode
- This role is open in our Belgrade, Vilnius, and Nicosia offices
- Onsite or hybrid in the office (2-3 days per week in the office)
