Job description

Responsibilities

  • Makes decisions within the scope of the position and authority, as well as independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work for self
  • Can also make decisions that have an impact on the department
  • Provides administrative support to management or a team
  • Work will include general duties such as:
  • budget assistance
  • managing team requests for travel
  • meeting room bookings
  • timesheet/expense entry
  • systems support
  • staff changes
  • manage team correspondence
  • other secretarial duties
  • Utilizes many different systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, ERP, and other software used by the business

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or related position
  • High school diploma required
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Keyboarding skills; Intermediate to Proficient skills in MS Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Internet Search Engines
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong ability to research and fact-find
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
