Responsibilities
- Makes decisions within the scope of the position and authority, as well as independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work for self
- Can also make decisions that have an impact on the department
- Provides administrative support to management or a team
- Work will include general duties such as:
- budget assistance
- managing team requests for travel
- meeting room bookings
- timesheet/expense entry
- systems support
- staff changes
- manage team correspondence
- other secretarial duties
- Utilizes many different systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, ERP, and other software used by the business
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or related position
- High school diploma required
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Keyboarding skills; Intermediate to Proficient skills in MS Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Internet Search Engines
- Attention to detail
- Strong ability to research and fact-find
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
