Job description

Our Firm Agentis Capital Partners ("ACP") operates as the family office of the founding partners of Agentis, a diversified platform with businesses spanning principal investments, financial advisory, capital markets, and asset management services. Since its founding in 2009, the Agentis platform has advised on more than $30bn of transactions across infrastructure, mining, and energy, while ACP has built and managed a long-standing portfolio of principal investments across technology, industrial, and mixed industrial-technology businesses.

ACP actively pursues both active and passive principal investments and currently manages a portfolio of more than 20 businesses. The firm has consistently made principal investments over the past decade, recycling capital into high-value opportunities and working closely with management teams and boards to create long-term value.

Your Contribution

As an integral member of the principal investments team, you will work directly with the founding partners of Agentis on principal activities and will work with members of the advisory team where Agentis is making an investment in or alongside a client. You will work directly with C-suite executives and board members of Agentis portfolio companies and potential investments. Your role will include:

  • Researching potential investment opportunities; providing research on target companies, sectors, industries, and geographies
  • Evaluating investment opportunities and participating in the execution of principal investments
  • Developing financial models with a range of complexity for principal transactions
  • Assisting in the management of due diligence processes, including managing third-party advisors
  • Assisting in developing the strategy, business plan, and objectives of portfolio investments
  • Managing and aggregating asset-level reporting for portfolio investments

Your Background and Skills

  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, computer science or other related fields
  • Exceptional academic results (minimum cGPA of 80% or 3.7/4.0)
  • Ability to concisely communicate complex concepts and ideas verbally and in writing
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
