Role Summary and Impact

We are looking for an Activation Executive to work on one of our most important accounts. This is a fully formed account team offering best-in-class strategy, planning, investment and innovation for the client. This role will offer the opportunity to work with extremely large budgets and savvy, forward-thinking clients. It is a fast-paced account, but there is still plenty of room for strategic and innovative thinking.

As part of WPP Media, we have access to some of the best technology and tools available, including econometrics, proprietary web analytics and a wide range of planning and evaluation tools.

What we need from you

  • As an Activation Executive, your role is to support the Senior Activation Executive by taking an active role in assisting with the planning, implementation and delivery of multi-channel campaigns.
  • There is a strong focus on supporting the implementation, planning and buying of campaigns across both online and offline channels, including print, digital and radio/audio, whilst contributing to the display strategy.
  • You will support the Senior Activation Executive in ensuring pricing targets are met and develop an understanding of commercial media buying and investment practices.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating campaign activity, maintaining accurate documentation and taking ownership of assigned tasks across campaigns, whilst ensuring best practice processes are followed.
  • Taking an active role in team initiatives, contributing ideas and insights, and supporting the development of effective and innovative solutions for clients will be a key part of the role.

Skills and Experience

  • An interest in media planning, buying and activation across multiple channels. Experience in print, digital or audio campaigns is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • An active interest in learning about our client's business and the wider media landscape.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and seek opportunities to develop new skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, media owners and partner agencies.
  • A desire to stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies and innovations that could benefit our clients.
