Job description
ISEE is seeking a detail-oriented AV Integration Engineer.
Role responsibilities include:
- Integrate ISEE's self-driving kit (consisting of sensors, actuators, ECUs, networking and communication devices, power delivery etc.) into a base vehicle platform
- Maintain integration design documentation
- Be the “first responder” for vehicle issues
- Triage vehicle issues hands-on, determine root cause and resolve
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing automotive bus systems and working on vehicles (disassembling and assembling parts of the vehicle) and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas
- 5+ Years of Experience in the relevant industry
- Bachelor in Engineering field (Automotive, electric, IT, or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience with diverse automotive sensors incl. GPS, cameras, and LiDAR and automotive communication protocols such as CAN
- Passionate about self-driving vehicles and robotics
- Experience with state-of-the-art automotive bus analyzing tools (e.g. Vector CANoe/CANalyzer)
- Exposure to Matlab/Simulink tooling and Linux
- Worked with latest sensor technology for autonomous driving platforms including sensor calibrations
