Incubations Engineering at Sei

Sei Labs is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to help shape the future of Web3 by empowering innovative, high-impact applications across the Sei Blockchain. You'll work with a team at the forefront of blockchain technology, collaborating closely with our ecosystem partners to develop cutting-edge dApps spanning diverse Web3 domains (from DEX’s and games, to DePin, AI and beyond). If you're passionate about constant learning, rapid development, and making a tangible impact in a fast-paced, community-first environment, this is a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of what's possible in decentralized technology.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with full-stack development, with a focus on backend and API's
  • 1+ years working in Web3 with production grade Solidity contracts
  • Proficiency with one of Go / Typescript
  • Experience with database management using SQL, NoSQL, or similar technologies
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Terraform

Why work at Sei Labs

  • Team & Culture: Described as a "product-driven research & development lab" staffed by veterans from Google, Goldman Sachs, Robinhood, Nvidia, and Databricks. The culture is heavily technical and research-oriented, with a focus on open-source development.
  • Work Policy: Hybrid/On-site. Offices in San Francisco (HQ) and New York City. Job listings specify "Hybrid" or "Remote or Hybrid," indicating flexibility, though most roles require some in-office presence.
  • Notable Perks: Work at the frontier of blockchain scalability and speed. Employees get to work on extremely high-impact infrastructure problems (consensus, storage, trading systems) that handle billions of transactions.
  • Engineering Culture: Strong emphasis on R&D. The team is split ~18% technical (engineers, researchers) with active recruiting for Protocol Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Quantitative Developers. The work is on "category-defining" global-scale blockchain infrastructure.
