General Summary

The BI - Integration Lead is responsible for defining, designing, implementing, and governing enterprise integration solutions that enable secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across Penumbra's business applications.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application integration, middleware platforms, or enterprise architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions within complex, global organizations.

Other Qualifications

  • Boomi Professional Developer, Professional Architect, or equivalent Boomi certifications.
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite, Azure Integration Services, or other enterprise integration technologies.
  • Experience with AI-assisted integration development, automation, or intelligent mapping capabilities.
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Strong hands-on and architectural experience with Boomi AtomSphere and at least one other enterprise integration platform.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing integrations between SAP S/4HANA and enterprise applications including Salesforce, UKG, ServiceNow, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Active Directory, and other business applications.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration architectures, including API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, canonical data models, messaging, file-based integrations, and hybrid integration patterns.
  • Experience designing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud, on-premises, and hybrid integration solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Boomi AtomSphere, API Management, Boomi Flow, integration processes, deployment strategies, environment management, and reusable integration components.
  • Strong understanding of Atom, Molecule, Atom Cloud, deployment topologies, licensing strategies, and platform administration.
  • Experience implementing enterprise error handling, exception management, logging, monitoring, and operational support frameworks.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical integration architectures and solution designs.
  • Strong understanding of API security principles including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence architectural decisions and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Information Security, application teams, vendors, and project teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
