SpringHill Suites Memphis Downtown is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team! If you enjoy providing excellent guest service, take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and love helping guests start their day on a positive note, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and maintain the hotel's complimentary breakfast buffet according to brand standards.
- Ensure all breakfast items are fresh, properly stocked, and attractively presented throughout service.
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive customer service.
- Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, equipment, and serving stations.
- Replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies as needed.
- Break down and clean the breakfast area following service, including washing dishes and preparing for the next day.
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage experience is required, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, café, or similar hospitality environment.
- Must be available to work weekends, as scheduled.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to consistently report to work by 5:30 AM.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with food service.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
Schedule & Compensation
- Position: Part-Time
- Hours: 5:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Pay Rate: $14.25 per hour
- Availability: Weekend availability is mandatory; weekday shifts may also be scheduled based on business needs.
