The role & it's impact:

As a Business Development Representative you will design and execute targeted strategies to generate demand for platform solutions within your market segment. You will engage with prospective partners to qualify leads and create new revenue opportunities, helping small businesses thrive by connecting them with technology that drives efficiency.

Through outbound outreach, industry events, and strategic research, you will build strong relationships and represent the brand to increase market presence. Your work directly contributes to expanding our network of accounting and bookkeeping partners, creating a lasting effect on the broader economy.

The team & how they connect:

You will join an established team of nine reporting directly to our Sales Development Manager. Based in Denver, the group operates with a strong focus on collaboration, supporting one another to turn outreach efforts into meaningful business outcomes. The team works closely alongside Account Executives and internal partner services to ensure a seamless transition of qualified opportunities.

Initially, the role will focus on:

  • Executing outbound multi-channel outreach using phone, email, and social platforms
  • Researching potential partners, identifying key decision-makers, and qualifying new leads
  • Maintaining detailed activity records and managing lead pipelines using Salesforce
  • Collaborating with sales colleagues to refine lead generation strategies and optimize channel performance

Compensation:

The expected base salary range for this role in:

  • $60,000-$70,000 base + commission

Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:

  • Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
