About ActAI

There are over 5 billion users using basic applications today such email, notes, tasks, calendar and they're not AI-native. Our mission is to build proactive applications for anyone in the world, who are not used to complex prompting. We aim to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising and workflows, with minimal to no prompting. Our product focuses on achieving high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. We believe products will greatly reduce hallucinations. Our objective is to organise anyone's life, allowing us all to spend time on valuable and meaningful things

About the Role

The CFO will own financial strategy, performance and capital allocation across the group and its businesses. Finance should provide a clear view of where the group is making money, where capital is being deployed and where returns can be improved.

What you will be doing

  • Own Group P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting and financial planning.
  • Build financial models for businesses, new products, market expansion and investments.
  • Review revenue, costs, margins, unit economics and cash requirements by business.
  • Drive capital allocation based on business performance and expected returns.
  • Own treasury, tax, audit, controls and financial reporting across Group entities.
  • Lead financing, investments, acquisitions and other transactions when required.
  • Build finance systems and teams that can support additional businesses and markets.

What you will need

  • Senior finance experience in technology, fintech, internet or another high-growth business.
  • Strong experience across corporate finance, FP&A and business finance.
  • Deep understanding of P&L, cash flow, unit economics and capital allocation.
  • Ability to build and challenge financial models personally.
  • Experience operating across multiple businesses, entities or countries.
  • Hands-on operating style - willing to work directly through models, forecasts and financial problems.
