What you'll do:
- Prepare engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Develop technical specifications, design calculations, and process flow diagrams for water and wastewater projects
- Assist with the planning and design of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Support the design and permitting of wastewater pump station projects
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout project development
- Assist with permit applications and supporting documentation
- Review and refine project designs to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements
- Support project delivery efforts to meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, Master's degree preferred but not required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- 2+ years of experience utilizing AutoCAD for engineering design
- Experience in the design of pump stations and municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities preferred
- Basic understanding of wastewater treatment principles
- Experience with permitting processes and client/contractor coordination is a plus
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel, BioWin experience preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments effectively
- Client-service mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills

On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
