Job description

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars.

SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.

About the role

In this role, you’ll build the infrastructure and manage the daily operations behind SpaceXSI’s global community programs. You’ll architect internal tools and automate workflows across our community initiatives, using the latest development tools to help the team work more efficiently. This role will be pivotal in giving our community team the backbone it needs to scale significantly in 2027.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and maintain internal tooling and infrastructure that makes our global community programs run more effectively. This includes our Ambassador programs, student programs, and net-new programs.
  • Identify operational gaps and engineer solutions, automating manual processes, integrating external platforms, and building custom workflows from scratch.
  • Own the operational experience behind programs from application reviews, onboarding, member support, reimbursements, swag logistics, vendor coordination, and event operations.
  • Work with the Revenue Operations team to build the data infrastructure and dashboards behind community reporting, connecting program data to company-wide tools to track ROI and conversions.
  • Serve as the main operational point of contact for ambassadors and internal partners to increase time towards resolution on outstanding issues and questions.

You may be a fit if

  • Deep operations experience in building databases, workflows, and automations that scale, and you design them for the next 10x, not just today.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and event operations globally, including the realities of time zones, currencies, international shipping, and local regulations.
  • Strong bias toward action and would rather ship an 80% solution today than wait for perfect. We need someone that can make an impact on day one.
  • You care deeply about community and understand the importance of building strong relationships with our champions. Ultimately, your work will free up our team to spend more time connecting with our community.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and are energized by greenfield problems. You’ll be an early hire on a rapidly growing team.
  • Fluency with the following tools: Cursor, Databricks, Luma, Slack, Notion, Salesforce, CRM and Clay.

Why work at Cursor

  • Mission-driven research environment: Cursor describes itself as "an applied research team focused on building the future of software development" — a rare blend of R&D and product engineering
  • Talent density: The company "obsesses over talent to an unusual degree" and designs itself as "a haven for self-motivated individual contributors"
  • Rapid growth trajectory: From 0 to $3B ARR in ~4 years — employees work on products used by millions and see massive scale
  • Compensation: Competitive for AI/engineering talent; top-of-market salaries and equity in a high-valuation private company
  • Work policy: Mix of in-office (San Francisco, New York) and remote roles; many engineering roles are on-site
  • Engineering culture: Two-day on-site final interviews with the core team; no AI tools allowed in first-round coding interviews — they value raw problem-solving
  • Team composition: 579 employees with strong talent density from Stripe, Figma, Notion, Vercel, Graphite, Slack, Rubrik, and Plaid
  • Recent departures to: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, AWS — alumni are highly sought after
