OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Core Robotics Team Lead to join our high-impact engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a Development and Engineering Manager, leading our core robotics department to bridge the gap between advanced research and real-world implementation. You will be responsible for managing a team of 5+ engineers, fostering a high-performance agile environment, and ensuring our robotics solutions are robustly deployed and scaled across various industries.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the core robotics team (5+ engineers), driving delivery and maintaining engineering excellence.
  • Manage the end-to-end development cycle of core robotics features, from architectural design to real-world deployment.
  • Foster a culture of ownership and growth through active people management and professional development of your team members.

Robotics Engineering & Deployment

  • Take ownership of the core robotics software stack, ensuring high reliability for systems deployed in the field.
  • Partner with AI, Product, and Hardware teams to deliver resilient platforms capable of handling complex, real-world industrial tasks.

Agile Excellence & Innovation

  • Champion and refine Agile software development methodologies to ensure rapid, iterative, and high-quality delivery.
  • Continuously optimize internal development processes and CI/CD pipelines to scale the team's impact and software stability.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in a leadership role (Engineering Manager or Team Lead) with experience managing teams of 5+ people.
  • Deep technical background in Robotics, specifically with a strong focus on deployed robotics systems in real-life operating conditions.

Skills

  • Expertise in modern robotics software frameworks (e.g., ROS/ROS2) and programming languages (C++, Python).
  • Strong command of Agile software development practices and project management tools.
  • Exceptional people management skills with a passion for mentoring and building high-performing technical teams.
