It bundles roadtax renewal, roadside assistance, car repair booking and AI tools around the core comparison engine.

Started in 2019, we built the first mobile-first, insurance platform, enabling insurance to be accessible online by millions in the region. Today, its the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia.

What You Will Do

  1. Brand & Visual Strategy
  • Own BJAK’s UK brand identity and visual systems across all platforms
  • Build a UK-first visual narrative tailored to local users, culture, and market trends
  • Translate marketing and business objectives into impactful visual storytelling
  • Develop creative campaigns that build awareness, trust, and adoption
  • Ensure consistent brand expression across digital, social, product, and offline channels
  1. Creative Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a small, multidisciplinary UK creative team
  • Set high standards for design quality, speed, and execution
  • Review and approve visual assets to ensure alignment with the UK brand vision
  • Foster a collaborative, high-ownership, and execution-driven team culture
  1. Execution & Optimization
  • Build and manage creative workflows balancing quality, speed, and scalability
  • Partner with UK growth, product, and leadership teams to align visuals with strategic goals
  • Use data, insights, and market trends to optimize campaigns and creative output
  • Stay up-to-date on consumer, design, and digital trends to keep the brand relevant

What You Bring

  • 4–6 years of experience in visual design, brand design, or creative leadership
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, digital campaigns, and multi-channel projects
  • Deep understanding of branding, design systems, and digital content strategy
  • Proven experience leading creative teams and raising creative standards
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and modern production workflows
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or high-growth consumer brands
  • Experience building or localizing brands specifically for the UK market

Location This role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malysia office at least 3 days per week.

Language

  • English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
