Role details
Summary
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and warehouses to support AI-driven decision making, while building agents and internal workflows that accelerate organizational performance.
Job description
Who we are
Enterprise teams still copy data between systems all day. Work gets stuck in emails, legacy UIs, and handoffs. That chaos is costly, slow, and risky.
We're a fast-moving team on a mission to end it for good. Traction is strong and we're solving real problems for real customers—but to win, we need exceptional talent. We stay humble, do the work, and let results speak.
What we are building
We're building the AI operations platform for retail and CPG enterprises—a horizontal platform where AI agents execute end-to-end work across UIs and APIs with governance built in.
Where copilots stop, Duvo finishes the job. Business users specify the outcome; agents plan, act, request approvals on exceptions, and learn with every run. We start with a retail wedge (category management, supply chain, finance ops) where ROI is obvious, then expand to adjacent functions and sectors.
Velocity is our moat: ship fast, iterate faster, compound learning.
The role
We already collect a lot of data — now we need someone to turn it into leverage. This is not a classic pipelines-and-warehouse hire (that's table stakes). It's an AI-native take on the data role: build the foundations, then build the agents and internal workflows on top that make the whole organization faster and more data-driven.
What you'll own
- The data foundation — pipelines, warehouse, the substrate. Necessary, but not the point.
- Agents and internal workflows built on top of that foundation — the actual leverage.
- Enabling the org (product and beyond) to make faster, data-driven decisions.
This is an AI-native, senior role for someone who builds. You'll work across the data substrate and the agentic layer on top of it, and you'll be measured by how much faster and smarter you make the rest of the team.
Our tech stack
- TypeScript-first
- React and Fastify
- Postgres, GCP
- Latest AI primitives
How we work
- Initiative-driven. Organize around customer problems, not org charts.
- Customer-obsessed. Features that don't move customer metrics get cut.
- Iterative by default. Ship small, learn fast, fix forward.
- AI-first leverage. If a tool can do it, a person shouldn't.
- Direct feedback. Actionable feedback, given immediately.
- Autonomy with accountability. Outcomes over process.
What we offer
- Unlimited AI budget.
- Autonomy to do your best work.
- A real AI product with real customers.
- A sharp, motivated team that values ownership and candor.
- Competitive compensation with a meaningful equity component.
How we hire
- Hiring manager screen (30 min).
- Remote task (async, time-boxed, ~1 hour).
- Technical interview (online, ~1 hour).
- On-site trial day (Prague, 2 days), fully compensated.
Why work at Duvo Inc
- "Operators and Builders in the Same Room": Company culture emphasizes building and deploying into real, messy operations — not just building demos. The team is ~40 people across Europe and the US who "would rather deploy into a live operation than theorize about one." duvo.ai
- Remote-First (with EU/UK timezone preference): All 22 open roles are remote, with a base out of London (and a Prague office). Locations include London, New York, Prague, and remote across EU/UK. jobs.ashbyhq.com
- High Impact from Day One: Work directly with multi-billion-€ retailers on mission-critical supply chain, finance, and logistics operations — not internal tools.
- Fast-Growing, Well-Funded Startup: Backed by top-tier VCs (Index Ventures, Northzone) with $16M raised in Dec 2025, giving strong runways and growth trajectory. duvo.ai
- Strong Engineering Culture: Offers equity; competitive salaries (e.g., €110K–€220K for Product Engineers, €150K–$200K for US-based roles); roles span Product Engineering, AI Platform Engineering, Site Reliability, and Forward Deployed Engineering. jobs.ashbyhq.com
- Real Autonomy: The "Team" section and job descriptions stress that you map, fix, and run — not just ticket-push. You own outcomes across the full stack.
- Security & Compliance as a Given: SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified — engineers build on a solid compliance foundation.
