We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the administration, deployment, integration, and sustainment of mission-critical SIGINT survey, collection, and geolocation systems. This position combines Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps, and systems integration within operational and laboratory environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of SIGINT survey, collection, and geolocation systems
  • Provide Tier 3 engineering support, troubleshoot system failures and performance degradation, and restore systems to operational capability
  • Provide 24/7 call-in support for critical operational system discrepancies
  • Integrate, test, and optimize systems with enterprise infrastructure, services, and databases
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base materials
  • Assist Government engineers with maintaining system product-line standards and associated databases
  • Support field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities as required

Required Qualifications

  • Must be fully cleared with a recent MD polygraph
  • Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
  • Four (4) years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps
  • Recent experience within the last three (3) years with Kubernetes
  • Recent experience within the last three (3) years with cluster orchestration
  • Recent experience within the last three (3) years with containerization
  • Ability to provide 24/7 call-in support for critical operational system issues
  • Willingness to travel for system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570-compliant certification, such as Security+
  • CCNA certification
  • Polygraph date within the last seven (7) years

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
  • A Master of Science in Engineering or Computer Science may substitute for two (2) years of experience
