Job description

🌿 Mission The US healthcare system is complex, error-prone, and financially draining. Medical bills and insurance coverage shouldn’t be this hard to navigate. At Granted, we’re building the one solution every American can turn to for help. Thanks to AI and new regulations, Granted can fight claim denials, correct billing errors, negotiate and lower bills, and make coverage easier to understand—saving people time, money, and stress. Our goal is simple: to be the American’s most trusted advocate and partner to manage their healthcare, and healthcare financial decisions.

🏢 About Us Founded by a former Oscar Health leader, we’re a seed-stage company with $17M in funding. We’re lucky to be backed by the founders and investors at Hugging Face, Rocket Money, Oscar Health, CaseText, Forerunner Ventures, RRE Ventures, and more. We are well-funded and have solid runway. Bill lowering is the hook. People come to us when they have a bill they can't afford or don't understand. Granted checks it — catches errors, overcharges and denials, secures financial assistance, and negotiates with providers. That earns us the right to be connected to their insurance and their patient data, and from there Granted runs in the background, proactively monitoring every bill to help patients lower and pay what they owe.

🧭 About the Role We’re hiring our first in-house Digital Marketing Production Designer to own hands-on creative production across web, email, collateral, and video. You take a brief: usually from marketing and turn it into finished, on-brand assets ready to ship. This is a high-volume execution role: multiple landing pages, email templates, ad cuts, and decks each week, all held to Granted’s brand system and healthcare compliance rules. One thing to flag up front: ads, landing pages, and emails are the core requirement. Video editing is a strong plus, not a must-have.

🛠 What You’ll Do

Landing page design

  • Design and revise marketing-site and campaign landing pages in Figma (partner pages, patient-stories page, signup screens, and similar).
  • Design mobile-first, keep animation minimal, and match each page to the ad that drove the click.
  • Work from copy briefs and conversion benchmarks, not aesthetics alone.

Email design

  • Design and iterate responsive email templates for lifecycle, promo, and partner (FFGA) sends.
  • Keep templates consistent with the design system: icons, logo lockups, buttons, and spacing.

Collateral design

  • Build BD and partner decks, including reusable base templates that partner-specific versions fork from.
  • Produce sales enablement materials and co-branded partner assets (e.g., FFGA x Granted), plus a self-serve asset library reps and HR teams can pull from.
  • Turn around one-off brand and marketing design requests as they come in.

Social-first video editing

  • Cut UGC and talking-head ads into multiple lengths (e.g., 15s and 30s) and aspect ratios (9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9) for Meta and YouTube.
  • Burn in captions, add B-roll and text reveals, and keep the edit moving so it holds retention through the hook.
  • Version and riff winning ads: new hooks, on-screen insurer callouts, swapped presenters (including AI-generated), and platform re-cuts from existing masters.
  • Build light motion graphics and AI-assisted animation, such as product and explainer sequences (e.g., a bill-scan animation).

🧰 You'll Bring Must-haves:

  • 3+ years in production or creative design, with a portfolio spanning web, email, and static work.
  • Proficiency in Figma for landing pages and web layouts.
  • Responsive email design in an ESP (Klaviyo, Customer.io, or similar).
  • Comfort designing to an existing brand system and holding output consistent across formats.
  • Fast, reliable turnaround on high volume; you can read a written brief and run with it.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Social-first video editing in Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent — captioning, resizing, and fast multi-cut delivery.
  • Motion graphics or AI-assisted animation experience.

Toolkit: Figma, Adobe Premiere and After Effects (or CapCut), an ESP for email (Klaviyo or Customer.io), Canva, Linear for briefs and tickets, Slack, and Notion.

✨ You'll Thrive Here If

  • You get energy from taking a rough brief and shipping the finished thing — the ad cut, the landing page, the email — not just art-directing it
  • You move fast without dropping the details: multiple versions a week, every one on-brand and within the compliance rules
  • You like variety and don’t need to own one polished flagship — you’d rather turn around video, web, email, and decks and see what actually performs
  • You care about the same problem Granted is solving — helping people who are stressed and overwhelmed feel like someone’s actually on their side

Why work at Granted

  • Mission-driven: Directly impact people’s financial and emotional well-being by fighting medical billing errors and making healthcare navigation simpler.
  • Early-stage ownership: “We’re past zero to one, with real users and real traction. We’re still small enough that every hire shapes the product, the culture, and the standards we carry forward.” Meaningful equity with fair vesting.
  • Remote-first culture: Engineering and Customer Experience teams work remotely across the continental U.S. Other roles are hybrid (4 days in NYC office, Friday remote). Company-wide offsites 2–3 times per year for co-working, hackathons, and team bonding.
  • Top-tier benefits: Health, dental, vision, mental health support, 401(k), flexible PTO, paid team meals for in-person members.
  • Competitive compensation: Regularly benchmarked against industry-wide datasets.
  • Strong leadership: Founded by operators with experience in AI, healthcare, and consumer startups.
