Job description

Who we are

Vor Systems is building the intelligent transaction platform for complex energy and infrastructure assets. We help developers, asset owners, investors, lenders, and advisors set up data rooms, run diligence and Q&A, and move financing and M&A processes from origination to close.

To reach our climate goals, the world needs to build at an unprecedented scale, but 10–30% of costs are currently trapped in the manual "soft costs" that keep renewable projects in limbo. We are eliminating this friction with AI-native workflows that help developers deploy assets and capital faster, providing the digital infrastructure necessary to modernize the grid and bring the physical world into an age of abundance.

Backed by Gigascale Capital and trusted by leading independent power producers, Vor has reviewed more than $1 billion in net asset value and diligenced more than 10 GW of assets. Help us build the software that powers the energy transition.

How we work

We work directly with customers during live transactions, where priorities change quickly and details matter. We value people who create structure from ambiguity, communicate plainly, and own the outcome from an initial customer need through a delivered result or product improvement.

You will be our first post-sales lead and the domain counterpart to our engineering team. You will implement the product, deliver diligence work, and help turn recurring customer needs into software.

What you’ll work on

You will own customer engagements from implementation through delivery, adoption, and expansion. This includes:

  • Own delivery of Vor's platform and services to key clients, from onboarding through ongoing engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client’s investment, development, and capital markets teams, understanding their workflows, document sets, and evaluation criteria
  • Directly collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to improve the product, translating complex legal and technical nuances into data and feature requirements.
  • Push the product forward by combining your own domain experience with what you hear directly from customers, feeding gaps and opportunities into the product roadmap
  • Partner with the commercial team on designing and executing technical pilots, statements of work, and technical demos for prospective customers
  • Support Vor’s growth and go-to-market efforts, including case studies, customer references, and conference or sales materials

Who you are

Ideally

  • You have 4-8 years of experience in renewable energy project development, asset management, or portfolio finance (solar, wind, BESS, or adjacent)
  • You have direct, hands-on experience with diligence processes for renewable energy transactions; you have lived in the data room and understand the friction of manual document review
  • You have experience engaging directly with investment teams and senior stakeholders at customer organizations
  • You are a structured operator who can manage multiple customer workstreams and deliver under transaction pressure
  • You are product-minded, communicate clearly, and work autonomously in a small, fast-moving team
  • You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable working closely with engineers and testing new product workflows.

Bonus points

  • Experience in a customer-facing implementation, solutions, advisory, or professional-services role.
  • Exposure to project finance debt, tax equity, M&A, or portfolio-level transactions.
