This internship offers hands-on experience in event sales, marketing, and operations at one of the world's most iconic venues. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about hospitality, events, and client services. This position is paid at the hourly rate of $15.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the sales and operations team on industry-related projects, including research and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist Evergreen with contributing to social media content, updating project management documents, and supporting creative outreach.
  • Provide on-site support for private and ticketed events throughout the Fall, including client-facing responsibilities.
  • Contribute to budget preparation for 2026, assisting with data collection, organization, and review.
  • Collaborate with team members on various event logistics, administrative tasks, and other general event duties as assigned.
  • Research creative ideas and innovative solutions to event planning.

CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Willingness to support event setup and on-site tasks, including but not limited to the ability to lift 5+ pounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools and social media platforms a plus.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

At the Boston Red Sox we go beyond embracing diversity. We’re committed to living by our values, strengthening our community, and creating a workplace where people genuinely feel like they belong.

Too often, job seekers don’t apply to positions because they don’t meet every qualification. If you love this role and are great at what you do, we encourage you to apply. Your unique skills and experiences might just be what we’ve been looking for.

Prospective employees will receive consideration without discrimination based on race, religious creed, color, sex, age, national origin, handicap, disability, military/veteran status, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or protected genetic information.
