Job description

Meticulous is a fast-growing series A company building automated frontend testing software. It's used by engineering teams at companies like Notion, Dropbox, Mercor, Wiz and many others. This is a split business and support role working directly with the CEO. It has a broad scope - we're growing quickly and hiring to increase our operational capacity as a company. This means the scope will evolve rapidly.

What you'll do

  • Support the CEO across business and private life.
  • Provide operational support to our operations and go-to-market team to execute complex operational processes and tasks.
  • No task is too small. Examples:
  • Carry the fruit crate up to the office each morning.
  • Keep the office spotless - you notice the empty coffee tin before anyone else does.
  • Run across town at short notice to collect or source something.
  • Chase a vendor by phone until you get an answer.
  • No task is too complex. Examples:
  • Occasional large one-off projects, such as opening a San Francisco office, owning a professional AV fit-out of a meeting room, or organizing a week-long international company offsite for 25 people.
  • Own the organization and execution of corporate events end-to-end, such as renting a restaurant for a CTO dinner in New York, including greeting guests and hosting.
  • Own the experience for candidates, customers, investors and partners who visit the office.

Hours: Core working hours and excellent evening/weekend responsiveness for time-sensitive items. Travel: Regular international travel required. Benefits and perks:

  • All food in office is free (breakfast, lunch, dinner, delivery included).
  • £300 monthly wellness stipend
  • Private medical insurance

Why work at Meticulous

  • Culture: Small, extremely talented team of six (currently 15 total) based in London; belief in building a lean, high-impact team.
  • Compensation: World-class — exceeds top technology companies and startups. Salaries range $280K–$400K (San Francisco) or £150K–£300K (London).
  • Work on novel distributed systems: Build a system to concurrently replay thousands of sessions deterministically, derive algorithms for session selection, and push the boundaries of automated testing.
  • Network: Access to a personal network of top technology leaders (investors and advisors) — the company facilitates introductions for commercial reasons.
  • Remote/Hybrid: Primarily onsite in London (office-based), with some roles in San Francisco.
  • Perks: Opportunity to solve exceedingly difficult problems that change how the world develops software; work alongside colleagues who have led large engineering groups at Palantir, Dropbox, etc.
