About the Role

Decagon is looking for a highly organized Field Marketing Coordinator based in New York City to support our field marketing efforts and help fuel pipeline for the Sales and SDR teams. You’ll play a key role in researching, planning, and executing events; managing swag and gifting; and ensuring seamless alignment with our sales team before, during, and after each activation. This is an ideal role for someone who is excited to learn the fundamentals of field marketing from planning through execution.

In this role, you will

  • Event coordination: Support the planning and execution of field events, conferences, and trade shows across pre-event preparation, onsite coordination, and post-event follow-up. Manage logistics, sales enablement, vendor communication, shipping, onsite needs, and post-event wrap-up. Coordinate smaller events, such as executive dinners and ancillary conference activations, from initial planning through final follow-up.
  • Event research: Identify and evaluate high-impact events and sponsorship opportunities aligned with Decagon’s ideal customer profile and regional priorities.
  • SDR partnership: Work closely with the SDR team to align on event targets, pre-event outreach, lead routing, and post-event follow-up campaigns.
  • Swag and gifting: Manage the sourcing, inventory, and shipment of swag, branded materials, and gifts for prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Reporting and data management: Upload and maintain event attendee and lead lists, ensure accurate campaign attribution and lead routing, and uphold strong data hygiene to provide GTM teams with reliable, actionable data. Track event performance, review lead quality, and identify opportunities to improve field programs.

Your background looks something like this

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, or operations. Relevant internship experience is welcome.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to contribute to a fast-moving, sales-driven team.
  • Comfortable taking initiative coordinating smaller events.
  • Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce is a plus.
