Job description

Zeeco designs and manufactures advanced combustion and environmental solutions for industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, and LNG. It helps companies reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and meet environmental compliance requirements through products like burners, flare systems, and thermal oxidizers. For our italian HQ in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), we are now seeking a Finance Manager to join our fantastic team.

The Finance Manager has responsibility for managing all aspects of the accounting department and performing a variety of activities to support the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer and will provide financial advice and support to help senior managers and executives make key decisions.

Key Responsabilities

  • Management of and responsibility for the Finance department and its operations
  • Production and review of financial statements for European entities
  • Project revenue recognition by Percentage of Completion (POC)
  • Ensure statutory and tax compliance
  • Financial analysis and commentary
  • Review business performance with executive and senior management
  • Production of annual budgets
  • Manage financial audits
  • Manage relationships with banks, external consultants and outsourced service providers
  • Cashflow forecasting and reporting, including foreign exchange risk
  • Implementation, development and maintenance of financial systems and tools
  • Review financial processes and implement improvement plans
  • Deliver on special projects as required

The Candidate

  • Accounting qualification or degree
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar finance management role
  • Experience implementing financial or ERP software
  • Experience using Sage is desirable
  • Experience in Percentage of Completion (POC) calculations
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office), with Excellent Excel skills.
  • Leadership or management experience
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Confident and assertive
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Resourceful, good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and highly dependable.
  • Good organisation, time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to manage unexpected situations
  • Good team player
  • Ability to use initiative and make decisions autonomously
