Job description

About Freckle

Freckle is the data and workflow layer for GTM teams. Users tell an agent in Claude, Codex or our app what they want, and Freckle builds and runs it: pulling lists, enriching them across dozens of data providers, scoring with AI agents, and writing results back to the CRM. We compete head to head with Clay and win, and Series A+ teams like Bolt.new run their GTM on us.

The role

You own what customers touch: the web app, the CLI, and the agent experience inside Claude and Codex. You talk to users, help decide what we build next, and ship it end to end. You'll be one of the first engineers and have a direct say in where the product goes.

What you'll do

  • Ship features across the web app, CLI, API and agent integrations (MCP, plugins)
  • Turn the workflows customers build by hand into product
  • Talk to customers, answer tickets for what you own, and ship the fix yourself
  • Use coding agents heavily and own the judgment on what they produce

You might be a fit if you

  • Are a strong full-stack engineer with product taste
  • Like hearing from customers, including when something breaks
  • Are pragmatic and autonomous, and don't need a curated task board

Bonus: you've founded something, built developer tools or AI agents, or know GTM tools like Clay and CRMs. Stack: TypeScript and Effect end to end, Postgres, Redis, React with Vite and TanStack, ElectricSQL sync Benefits: generous equity; health benefits for you and dependents Freckle is an equal opportunity employer.

Why work at Freckle

  • High-Growth Environment: A young, well-funded startup (Seed, $5.9M) with strong YoY headcount and follower growth, indicating strong product-market fit and momentum.
  • Hybrid Workspace: Based in San Francisco with a hybrid work policy, plus team members in India, Australia, and Israel.
  • Tackling a Hard Problem: Working on the intersection of AI, data, and GTM, directly competing with a category leader (Clay) by solving a real usability problem.
  • Small, Impactful Team: With ~13 employees, new hires will have significant ownership and impact across engineering, product, and GTM functions.
  • Strong Backing: Backed by Gradient (Google’s AI fund) and 1984 Ventures, providing both capital and strategic support.
