Job description

About Endeavor

Endeavor is building the operating system for point-of-sale patient financing—helping dental practices and DSOs increase treatment acceptance, streamline approvals, and deliver transparent, accessible financing options to every patient. Our platform combines intelligent workflows, lender orchestration, and AI-driven insights to create a seamless experience for practices and life-changing outcomes for patients.

Why This Role Stands Out

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Endeavor, you’ll shape the evolution of our core platform—powering treatment plan optimization, real-time financing approvals, and intelligent workflows used by practices every day. You’ll build foundational systems that blend AI-driven decisioning with intuitive, high-reliability user experiences.

You won’t be maintaining legacy code; you’ll be architecting the future of a healthcare-fintech platform from the ground up—owning systems that directly impact patient access to care and how practices operate.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and own production features across our stack (Next.js, React, Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS).
  • Architect data models, API endpoints, and internal tools that power financing workflows.
  • Work closely with design and implementation teams to translate complex clinical + financial workflows into simple, high-leverage product experiences.
  • Implement best-in-class security, reliability, and compliance patterns for healthcare and financial data.
  • Partner with ML/AI engineers to integrate predictive models into treatment and financing flows.
  • Raise the bar for engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and mentorship.
  • Help lay the foundation for Endeavor’s long-term technical architecture as we scale into multiple products and customer types.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5–10+ years building production-grade full-stack applications.
  • Technical Mastery: Expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend systems (Rails or Node preferred). Strong SQL fundamentals.
  • Product Sense: Ability to translate ambiguous workflows into clean user experiences and well-structured systems.
  • Startup Builder Mindset: Comfortable owning 0→1 features, working with evolving requirements, and shipping quickly without sacrificing stability.
  • Security & Reliability: Understanding of secure data handling, role-based access, audit logging, and healthcare/fintech compliance considerations.
  • Collaboration: Experience partnering with product, design, implementation, and operations teams.
  • Mission-Driven: Passion for using technology to expand access to care and improve patient outcomes.

Salary & Benefits

  • Top-of-market base salary
  • Generous equity—real ownership in Endeavor’s future
  • Fully remote-first, with travel for team onsite and customer visits
  • Professional development stipend
  • Health benefits, flexible PTO, and a mission-driven culture

  • Generous compensation: Highly competitive base salary, meaningful equity package, health & wellness benefits, casual PTO policy, and a professional development budget for training, certifications, and conferences.
  • Early-stage ownership: Employees get a significant stake in the company’s future growth, with the chance to play a central role in scaling the product from early stage.
