Job description

You will be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and testing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of our business and operational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
  • Develop secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs their own code as well as code written by others.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
  • Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.
  • Work with an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high-quality software and new products.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • High level proficiency in Java (Java 8 or newer) and Spring Boot is a must.
  • Kotlin, GoLang, Spring and related technologies are used and great to know.
  • 6+ years designing and delivering cloud-native applications using best practices (Azure, AWS, K8s & PaaS)
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods; all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle; and agile methodologies, CI/CD, TDD
  • Hands on experience with web technologies (e.g. HTTP, REST, JSON, etc.) and building applications with microservice architecture or API concepts
  • SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
