Job description

Our Mission

Expand human ambition in the physical world.

Critical infrastructure is constrained by labor shortages, hazardous working conditions, and operational complexity. Watney builds and deploys autonomous robotic systems that increase the speed and capacity of buildout, starting with data centers.

About the Role

At Watney, the Growth Marketing Manager builds the company's public voice and brand. This role spans the full range: owned content, paid acquisition, and brand, so you're setting direction end to end. You'd work in close partnership with leadership to set that direction and define the marketing function from scratch.

What You'll Do

  • Define and build Watney's public narrative and brand from scratch.
  • Build the growth and demand-generation motion for a company with no existing one.
  • Decide what can be said publicly for a company that has operated under real secrecy.
  • Work directly with founders and sales on positioning and go-to-market.

You May Be a Good Fit If You:

  • Have built a marketing function at an early-stage company from close to zero.
  • Have worked within real confidentiality constraints - a story you can tell without the details you can't.
  • Are comfortable with a blank page: no brand system, no content library, no existing playbook.

We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive team. At Watney Robotics, we welcome people of all backgrounds and identities, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential. If you’re passionate about robotics but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply!
