Role details
Job description
About Lingopal
Lingopal builds real-time AI language technology, with a live translation product used in production today. We're now building our next product — an AI agent platform. Our target customers are enterprises with heavy customer-support needs (hospitality, airlines, travel) and fast-scaling AI-agent companies (Series C/D).
About the Role
We're looking for a GTM Lead to build our go-to-market motion from scratch — the first dedicated GTM hire for our new product. This is a sales-focused, build-the-playbook role: you'll own the sales strategy, run early enterprise conversations, and figure out what works before we scale it. You'll partner directly with the founders and help validate the go-to-market as the product itself is still evolving.
What You'll Do
- Build the GTM playbook from zero — positioning, target accounts, outbound motion, sales process, pricing inputs.
- Own enterprise sales end-to-end: prospecting, discovery, pilots, and closing.
- Sell into two segments: enterprises with heavy customer-support needs (e.g. hospitality, airlines) and AI-agent companies (Series C/D). Reach and win buyers at the Chief AI Officer, COO, and CTO level.
- Bring the market read back into product — your early conversations will help shape and validate direction.
What We're Looking For
- Sales-focused GTM operator with enterprise sales experience and a real closing track record.
- Proven ability to build a GTM motion from scratch (early-stage / 0→1, not just run an existing playbook).
- Strong market sense — you can find the wedge, read a segment, and prioritize where to spend.
- Comfortable selling a still-evolving product on its future vision, not just today's features.
- High ownership, entrepreneurial, thrives in ambiguity.
Why work at Embedding VC
- Culture: A small, focused team of 17 employees (as of mid-2026) with a flat structure, offering significant ownership and impact. The firm is described as a partnership.
- Remote/Hybrid Policy: The firm has offices in Menlo Park (HQ) and Los Angeles, CA. Job postings indicate a mix of "In-Office" and "In-Office or Remote" roles, suggesting flexibility depending on the position.
- Notable Perks/Engineering Culture: Working at a VC firm offers exposure to the cutting edge of AI technology and the startup ecosystem. The team is composed of specialists and management, with a strong consulting and technical background. The firm is actively hiring for technical roles (Machine Learning Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Engineer) and product roles, indicating a hands-on, builder-oriented culture within the firm itself.
