Full-Time

Job description

We're Scan.com scan.com. We're building America's national imaging network: the infrastructure that connects patients, providers, and payers to faster, better-value diagnostic imaging. Thousands of patients move through our platform every day, and each is a real person waiting for an answer to a healthcare concern. We exist to get them that answer faster.

We manage the medical imaging pathway end-to-end. Providers order through a single point of entry, and from there, we run the entire medical diagnostic pathway. Managing the full pathway, rather than brokering pieces of it, is what lets us deliver imaging faster, at higher quality, and at a lower cost than the fragmented status quo.

We're looking for a Head of Partnerships to lead our UK partnerships function at an exciting time — our B2B platform is expanding rapidly across insurance, medico-legal, dental, and consultant verticals, we're now offering 10+ scan types, and working with 200+ UK imaging centres. We've raised a total of $100m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a 100%+ yearly growth trajectory.

WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:

This is a commercial role reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, based in London. You'll lead the Business Development function and shape its structure, owning the UK partnerships pipeline end-to-end — from field-based outreach through to commercial negotiation and close. Working cross-functionally with our operations, product and clinical teams, you'll be the face of Scan.com scan.com for our most important clients — building trust, driving performance, and identifying new opportunities to grow.

As an early-stage business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

  • Building and managing a pipeline of B2B partnership opportunities across insurers, cash-plan providers, dental groups, referring provider practices, and healthcare networks
  • Getting out in the field — calling on and visiting referring provider practices directly to bring them onto the Scan.com scan.com platform
  • Leading commercial negotiations from initial outreach through to contract signature, and meeting targets for sign-ups and referral volume
  • Setting and owning the partnerships strategy for the UK business, in collaboration with the MD
  • Maintaining relationships with existing partners, sharing feedback and market insight back into the wider Scan.com scan.com team to shape strategy
  • Working cross-functionally with product, supply, and finance teams — including colleagues in the US — to structure deals that work operationally as well as commercially
  • Representing Scan.com scan.com at industry events and building the company's profile in the UK healthcare partnerships landscape

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE:

  1. Build and convert a qualified partnerships pipeline, closing several anchor B2B deals across priority verticals
  2. Establish a clear, repeatable framework for sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnership deals — including field-based referral outreach
  3. Grow revenue and volume from existing key accounts through renegotiated or expanded terms
  4. Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organisations
  5. Be a collaborative, values-led member of the Scan.com scan.com team — bringing energy, curiosity, and a solutions-first mindset to everything you do

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

  • A strong track record in B2B partnerships, field sales, or commercial negotiation, ideally in healthcare, health tech, or a related regulated industry
  • Proven experience in a closing sales role, with confidence in cold-calling and dropping into potential clients unannounced
  • Confidence leading complex negotiations and closing deals with senior stakeholders
  • A self-starter approach — comfortable building a pipeline from scratch and working autonomously
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically about market positioning and growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly across clinical, operational, and commercial audiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling business where priorities can shift
  • Willingness to travel across the UK — a full, clean driving licence is helpful

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU

We keep our interview process short and sweet, and we're a nimble team that can progress at pace. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order of each step depending on team availability:

  1. Introductory call/interview with our Talent Partner. The call is usually via telephone and will last around 30 minutes.
  2. Should it feel like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a 45-minute video call with the hiring manager. This is a more structured interview that will deep-dive into the role and technical needs.
  3. All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take-home assessment or further video calls. Length varies, but we're mindful of your time and try to keep it as simple as possible.
  4. Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, the length varies depending on how many people are involved and whether in person or via video call.
  5. Offer!

BENEFITS

We go beyond the basics with our benefits package. Here's what you can expect from us:

  • Salary range of £70,000 – £80,000
  • Statutory pension
  • Healthcare plan
  • All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively
  • Flexible working
  • Personal Development budgets
  • 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Wellness budget to spend via a partner platform
