Job description
Head of Sales - Skilled Nursing, U.S. Located in the United States, within a reasonable (~60-minute) commute to a major or semi-major airport.
About Teton
Teton is building the foundational data layer for the point of care, using real-time, multimodal AI to generate a digital twin of the patient and care environment. Our product alleviates administrative inefficiencies and observational tasks that overburden healthcare professionals, enabling them to provide better patient care. Through a combination of in-room hardware, AI, and desktop and mobile applications, Teton helps create a seamless healthcare experience for both patients and providers. Our solution provides unprecedented access to real-time data insights, creating a digital twin of resident states and care delivery that empowers healthcare providers with actionable intelligence for optimal decision-making. Teton is already working with skilled nursing operators and is seeing strong market pull from the segment. With clear customer demand and a significant opportunity to expand our presence, we are now looking for a commercial leader to establish and scale Teton’s dedicated U.S. Skilled Nursing sales function. This is a rare opportunity to shape a new market segment within a high-growth organization: personally developing and closing strategic opportunities while building the go-to-market strategy, sales motion, and team required to scale. Reporting to the Global VP of Sales, the Head of Sales - Skilled Nursing will lead Teton’s net-new logo growth across the U.S. skilled nursing market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Teton’s U.S. Skilled Nursing go-to-market strategy, translating existing customer traction and market demand into a repeatable and scalable sales motion.
- Operate as a hands-on commercial leader - personally generating pipeline and closing strategic skilled nursing opportunities, and leading complex enterprise deals through multi-threading, executive alignment, business-case development and contracting, including site visits, and executive presentations.
- Optimize Teton’s skilled nursing positioning and commercial positioning around the segment’s operational & clinical priorities, reimbursement environment, regulatory requirements and financial pressures.
- Establish a rigorous operating cadence across pipeline generation, qualification, deal progression, forecasting, CRM governance, and account planning.
- Build and scale the dedicated Skilled Nursing sales organization over time, including defining the appropriate segmentation, territory model, hiring plan, and performance expectations.
- Represent Teton at major skilled nursing conferences, state and national associations, and executive forums, building senior industry relationships and strengthening Teton’s presence within the market.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience selling into the U.S. skilled nursing market, with deep knowledge of the segment's commercial, operational, reimbursement, and regulatory landscape - and the ability to translate that into a credible go-to-market strategy and sales approach. An established industry network is a strong plus.
- A demonstrated track record as a highly successful individual contributor: consistently exceeding million-dollar new business quotas and closing high six-figure ACV deals across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- The ability to operate as a true builder and player-coach: strategic enough to establish the market strategy, sales organization, and operating model, but hands-on enough to personally generate pipeline and close critical deals.
- Experience introducing and scaling new technologies within the skilled nursing market would be a significant advantage.
- A rigorous, data-driven approach to pipeline management, forecasting, CRM accuracy, qualification, performance management, and sales governance.
- Proven experience building or scaling sales teams, segmentation models, territories, processes, methodologies, and repeatable go-to-market motions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly across the United States.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and participation in our warrant program.
- The opportunity to establish and scale a core commercial segment within one of Teton’s highest-potential markets.
- Work with state-of-the-art technology in a pioneering field.
- A high-impact leadership position with significant influence over Teton’s U.S. Skilled Nursing strategy, team structure, and commercial execution.
- 401(k) plan, paid time off, and health insurance.
